Tony is a freelance photographer shooting a wide range of subjects but who freely admits that his favourite subjects are musicians and sportsmen.
"Musicians and sports participants are the least self conscious people on the planet. When you shoot them you get to see their inner self, be it expressing an emotion in a love song or striving to achieve a sporting objective."
Describing his favourite sort of photography as 'extreme portraiture' - you have no control over wardrobe, pose or lighting, Tony also shoots more 'ordinary' subjects and a wide variety of imagery for advertising from reflective signs at night to rabbit food!
Tony is the resident photographer at entertainment magazine The Grapevine, where apart from shooting musicians and actors, he also manages the magazine's sister website GrapevineLive, is part of the editorial team, conducts interviews, answers the phone and occassionaly makes tea!
Tony is also a founder member of Freebird Images - a collective of East Anglian based photographers.
